Half Round gutter provides a traditional, historical, with an easy-on-the-eye shape. It is available in various sizes, forms, and material. This style of gutter allows for the use of Embossed copper as in the picture below, providing a very elegant touch to any structure.

The gutter size (width across the top) that you select depends on many factors, such as the aesthetics of the area it is abutted to and, more importantly, the amount of water it may be expected to handle.

Shapes:
- Reverse Bead - This style, shown in the drawing below, allows for the use of "hidden hangers", enabling a clean, smooth look to the gutter line. The outside bead provides a smooth edge and finish to the gutter. Exterior decorative gutter hangers can also be used to enhance the look.
- Traditional Bead - This is the classic "half-round" gutter style, with the bead curled outward, as in the drawing below. This style works extremely well with Copper and un-painted Galvanized Steel, but if painted Aluminum, it is necessary to use double-sided coil to manufacture the gutter.
Materials:
- Copper - The most stunning of all gutter and downspout materials and is extremely durable. Over time the copper patina evolves into a very attractive and natural "weathered" look that is often mimicked with other materials.
- Aluminum - This non-corrosive versatile material allows for the gutter to be painted virtually any color. Typically the material is painted electrostatically.
- Galvanized Steel - For the rugged "industrial" look, there is nothing like the look of Galvanized Steel. It is tough, clean, and simply looks great.
